While we definitely dig the Sportage's 182-horsepower entry-level engine, it nonetheless can't quite hold a candle to the drivetrain offered with its sportier sibling, the SX. Teaming a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a six-speed automatic gearbox, the SX generates a glorious 260 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque.
We'd also note that it's especially sprightly when had in front-drive form. So equipped, the SX will put down the 0-to-60 mph dash in only 6.5 seconds.
